Karen Howse is a Textile Artist producing stitched artworks and jewellery.
"My environment of North Cornwall is the inspiration for much of my work.
After studying Textile Design at Winchester School of Art I spent two months travelling in India.
This trip influenced my approach and fired my making. Moving to Cornwall in 1993 was another turning point. The energy of the land, the ancient sites, north coast, moors and my own garden are all places of focus."

Karen has shown work nationally and internationally. A former member of New Fibre Art and the 62 Group of Textile Artists; she is a current member of The Devon Guild of Craftsmen and Drawn to the Valley.
