WORKSHOPS
I have been running classes in creative textiles with adults for over 15 years, focusing on my own style of intuitive and spontaneous stitching.
I have been invited to be artist in residence at Budehaven and Eggbuckland Community Colleges and am often asked to run day classes at schools so students can work with a practicing artist.
Most of my classes are run at Cowslip Workshops near Launceston, which is a fantastic place to teach. My classes are ideas-led and I use simple techniques such as couching, bonding and free machine stitch. I like keep the classes low tech. so ideas can flow freely. I aim to guide the students so they enjoy the journey as well as the end result, learning from each other as much as from me.
